Downstairs it’s a walk-up food truck focusing on Asian street food and a fully operational kitchen. It’s a little hard to define the town’s newest food and beverage offering in one or two words — Asian street food, Japanese-style hot dogs and world fusion fine dining all occupy the same space — but you’ve no doubt already seen it.   Gold Medal Plates   Eleven of Canada's best chefs are heading to Kelowna this week to compete for gold at the Canadian Culinary Championships. Among the contenders is Blake Flann -- executive chef at Blake Canmore. He beat-out nine other top chefs last fall to represent Calgary in the the Gold Medal Plates competition. He's driving to Kelowna tomorrow morning to get ready for the competition. He spoke to host Doug Dirks from Canmore.
